As well as being a coach and healer for 25yrs, I’ve also experience a lot of challenges in all areas of life. Honestly I found this embarrassing – why on earth was I not managing to get my life together?
I was passionate about investing in my personal development and spent thousands on coaching programs to support me. But I often found them lacking and would come out of them thinking that there must be something wrong with me. I didn’t seem to be finding the challenges easier to handle, if anything I was becoming more anxious and weaker, as I was losing more and more confidence in myself.
Then I found Journaling and the more I embraced it, the more I became stronger and empowered. At last I started to listen to my own intuition more, and feel ‘capable’ again.
At first it was just about managing my huge list of to do’s. But then I found more and more things that it could do for me. Every now and again I would face another massive challenge, where I would feel desperate & overwhelmed. Often at these points I couldn’t even afford a coach any more.
Gradually I found a simple process that would help me pull myself out of that chasm every time. It is adaptable & flexible – sometimes I would do all 8 steps, sometimes just a couple. Sometimes I’d race through in an hour, sometimes I might take a more gentle pace over a couple of weeks.
This process is mum life, chronic health, trauma & neurodivergent suitable. It is gentle, validating, healing, grounding and future creating.
It’s not a ‘fix’ – honestly I don’t think that there are any. But it is a repeatable process I (and my clients) use whenever I am distressed, overwhelmed or upset and it always reduces it to a more manageable level. It is what gradually helped me to create a new life without being derailed by some very real threats that could have totally decimated my life – step by step.
So now I’m sharing it with as many mums as I can, to empower you to take back the power and create a brighter future for you and the family.

We’ll have a chat beforehand about everyone’s biggest interests & challenges, so that the workshop can be tailored to your needs. Especially useful is to know of any health conditions or neurodivergence.
The 8 Steps
We’ll go through all the steps explaining the reason for each one and how to do it. There will be a digital course workbook for you to refer back to afterwards.
Let’s Have A Go
Lot’s of this workshop is going to be practical – by the end of it the course we will have tackled one of the things that tends to repeatedly distress you (I suggest not the most major and not the most minor issue).
Easy Journaling
As part of the practical we also cover journaling – you do not need to have attended my ‘Easy Journaling’ workshop beforehand, but we won’t be covering everything that is included in that course – just the parts that will help you in the healing process.
Gentle Living Digital Journal & Guide Worth £20 each
You’ll be sent the Gentle Living Digital Journal <click here for more info> which is reusable over and over again. (If anyone would prefer the ‘Easy Starter Journal’ that can be provided instead. This Journal also comes with a guide that you can always refer back to. Where Do these workshops run?
I run these in Peterborough, however if you are within 1hr’s drive, we can talk about me running them at your home at any time of the year (potentially with a slightly extra fee to cover travel).
Could you run this workshop online rather than 1to1?
Yep, I would be very happy to run this workshop for you on zoom, plus you can have a recording of it to refer back to.
Does This Process Replace Mental Health Professionals
Absolutely not, we will all need some external help at times in our lives, wether it is from a therapist, counsellor or coach. But this process will help you to be more self reliant in between sessions.
I Have A Serious Mental Health Challenge, Can I Still Attend?
Whilst I am trauma aware, I am not a qualified counsellor, therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist. I can give you a simple description of the process and what each part entails to give to your mental health support team if you would like. They need to be in agreement before we book you on the workshop. The process can be adapted to avoid exasperating mania, psychosis, or PTSD, but I take all mental health seriously and respect the qualifications & training that I do not have.
What happens if we need to cancel or reorganise?
As this is a group program and will have had a lot of prior preparation, I would need 7 days notice in order to refund for the program. A fee would still be charged for any materials that had been printed and digital journals emailed. I would not be able to refund if 1 or 2 of the attendees were not able to make it.
However, I would definitely attempt to reorganise if given enough notice, and not charge anything extra.
			Why Does The Gentle Living Journal Have An Outside Section And the Months Section?
The digital journal comes in 2 parts – the ‘outside section’ and the ‘months section’.
You will use the Outside section for the whole 12 months. This has your planning pages at the beginning and the review pages at the back.
Each Month, you take out the previous month, & slot in the new one into the middle of the Outside section. This will keep your Journal compact & easy to use!
Can you print the journals for us for the workshop?
Generally I will email you the journals before the workshop for you to print in your chosen manner (for a filofax or booklet). However for an extra fee I can organise for them to be printed for you. Please make sure to give me at least 7 days notice, if you need anything printed.

			My Background
Life was always challenging for me, I was a young carer with heavy responsibilities & a 'manipulative' mother.
I started off the standard route - doing a degree and working in IT for nearly 15yrs. But then 25yrs ago I retrained as a healer & coach, investigating all things holistic, spiritual, metaphysical & healing related. So I have a grounded, practical & pragmatic approach to life and healing - a mixture of magic & reality!
The best surprise was after being told I would never have kids, I miraculously had 2 - a boy and a girl. I was married for 35yrs, five of which were trying to get a divorce - the less said the better of that! This was when I switched to focussing on Mums, as I realised that to make a change in this world, Mums are key, as we are the heart of society, but often desperately unsupported.
Just after 40 I started to experience chronic pain & fatigue which led to a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia, later a clinical diagnosis of Lyme Disease, which escalated in lockdown to incorporate MCAS, CPTSD and an unhelpful dash of menopause LOL!
I love my business, but I am also juggling being a single mum of 2 teens, one of whom is neurodivergent, plus chronic health is quite a juggle!
Journaling became my Godsend - something that kept me functioning and content. People often find it overwhelming, so I'm passionate about promoting 'Easy Journaling' instead.
Eventually I realised that 'normal living' just wasn't going to work for me any more, even general coaching wasn't suitable for me & hence I came up with the concept of 'Gentle Living'.
I committed to making sure that my business fitted into my family's life & was manageable with my health- and so was born the art of 'Gentle Hustle Free Business'.
